At a press meet at Kattakada Press Club, the office bearers of the Travancore Chamber of Commerce announced that the Chamber is beginning its work from Kattakada, Thiruvananthapuram.

Present were Dr. Shaiju David Alfi (President), Mr. Biju S (Secretary / Managing Director), Mr. Aseem Muhammed (Treasurer) and directors Dr. Jiji Joseph and Dr. Jyothish Subhash.

They said the Chamber's main aim is to bring traders, industrialists, entrepreneurs and investors together, to protect their interests, and to give industry and commerce the support and cooperation it needs to grow.

They announced that the Chamber's office will be inaugurated at Kattakada on 5 November 2026 at 11:00 AM.
